Iran is calling the US's bluff.

LorikeetLurker

This is the biggest story in the world right now.

InfusionOfIdeas

Oil markets are going to react to this immediately.

MangoMoment

So the US just needs to unfreeze assets and lift the blockade?

TentedWithThoughts_2

JigsawJournalist

The strait has been closed since February. That's a long time.

BareWallsWithThoughts

Pezeshkian is walking a fine line here.

TeapotPhilosopher

OogieBoogieLight

Jaishankar's comments about energy routes make more sense now.

PermafrostPersonality

This is classic Iranian diplomacy. Propose, condition, wait.

MobyDickEnjoyer

RavenByNature

European energy crisis might get some relief if this works.

SlipperyWithFacts

I'll believe it when I see ships moving through.
