Honestly, I never trusted raw sprouts anyway.

FairlyUnpopularOpinion

My local grocery store in Montana pulled them immediately.

ScribbledThoughts

Salmonella Bovismorbificans sounds like a villain from a sci-fi movie.

TreadmillOfThoughts

Does anyone know if this affects other states beyond ID, MT, and WA?

DaintlyDisturbed

The CDC map shows cases in MN, OR, and UT too.

CoffeeThenThoughts

I hope the hospitals are prepared for any late-onset cases.

PrototypeOfPerson

It's scary how fast foodborne illnesses can spread across state lines.

CentrifugalForceVibes

Evergreen Fresh Sprouts, LLC is based in Moyie Springs, right?

MacGyverOfMistakes

I wonder if the recall was fast enough to prevent more cases.

NeverCommentedBefore_Lol

Always wash your produce, folks, even if it says pre-washed.

HeathcliffOnReddit

This is exactly why I grow my own microgreens now.

PersephoneOnBreak

No deaths yet, which is a relief, but still concerning.

OnTrackForNowhere

The whole genome sequencing match is solid evidence.

SoftlyDeranged

I'm experiencing mild cramps, should I go to the doctor?

PatentPending_Life

Better safe than sorry, get checked if you have symptoms.

AppleJuiceAcademic

Restaurants need to be extra careful about cross-contamination.

MapAndCompassOnly

I saw a news segment about this on the local evening broadcast.

FenderOfFeelings

It's wild that this is being investigated separately from the alfalfa sprout outbreak.

WovenWithWoe

Two different outbreaks at once? That's a lot for the CDC to handle.

ProbabilityCloud

I'm never eating at a salad bar again.
